A compelling match between two of the strongest competitors in boxing's lower weight divisions, WBC interim flyweight champion Jorge "Travieso" Arce and Rosendo "El Bufalo" Alvarez, has been added to the card headlined by Floyd Mayweather vs. Zab Judah at the Thomas & Mack Center on April 8. The bout will be broadcast domestically on HBO Pay-Per-View and is being co-promoted by Top Rank and Don King Productions in association with Caesars Palace and Wynn Las Vegas.

Arce by a very close decision. WE got to remeber that Alvrez was the only one to give trouble to a GREAT boxer like Ricardo Lopez

I would venture to guess that Arce will get a ton of votes from people who have no idea who Alvarez is.

He was the 1st to knock Ricardo Lopez down, and the rematch was Razor thin.

I'm gonna choose Arce but i know it isnt going to be easy, and if Arce comes in anything less than 100% in preparation, El Buffalo will take care of business.

This fight is going to be a savage, give and take type of fight.

Alvarez...a great fighter is past his prime.

Thats the problem, dude is 35, and that is why you have to favor Arce in this fight. That and the fact the Arce comes in 20 pounds overweight which is getting ridiculous in the sport.

The only thing I see is that Rivas, who is far more shot than Alvarez stood in there with Arce, so I'll be pulling for Alvarez.
