He could get away with it forever pretty much. Boxing fans are mostly dumb, urban and poor and Floyd has lots of money. Recipe for unchecked silliness.

LOL at the gifs. Floyd won the fight and the gloves would probably not change the outcome but cmon, this guy is changing the rules because he got the money to do it plain and simple. I find it kind of silly that any of you so called boxing fans are ok with this practice

So the drug testing demands to Pacquiao although unheard of at the time, was good for the sport which caught some cheaters in the process a including many from TMT promotions. Paying his way to violate a catch Weight on the Marquez fight and recently making Maidanas team choose to either call off the fight or wear gloves that were acceptable to his liking. I mean what's next the type of shoes, the entrance music, the fighter's cup? I mean isn't it a little ridiculous that money gives you an advantage?

This has been going on in boxing forever. Its just publicized more with Floyd being Floyd and the internet .weather its a boxer demanding to fight a certain place, certain gloves, ring size, entrance. Delahoya was known for this.. You must not of followed for that long. Any boxer who has the power to demand will demand. Cotto is also known for this. Whoever bring the most money will have the say. Remember these are people with big egos .

Wow you must be a a teen lil wayne fan. Cotto or Delahoya made these negotiations before the fight. This guy decided he was not going to fight if Maidana did not wear his gloves on the day before the fight. Educate yourself before you post.

The glove features the new PowerLock technology, which offers superior protection through a stable, compact chamber that secures a fighter's hand in a natural fist position. Additionally, the lightweight construction and ergonomic design of the glove offers a strong alternative to boxers seeking a powerful glove. The PowerLock now joins the MX, 1910 and Protex3 in the elite professional glove line from Everlast.

"The PowerLock has bridged the gap between power and protection, offering fighters a unique fight glove that appeals to every boxing style. Our equipment will continue to evolve in order to meet the ever-changing needs of our athletes and the sport of boxing."

The PowerLock Fight Glove has been featured in many major fights in recent months, most notably when Lucas Matthysse defeated Lamont Peterson via TKO, as well as in Amir Khan's victory over Julio Diaz. The PowerLock will be showcased this weekend (June 8(th) ) when Chad Dawson defends his WBC belt against Adonis Stevenson, live on HBO. The PowerLock Fight Glove is now available for purchase and will be sold exclusively online at

Forgot to add: They are NOT sparring gloves!!!!

They are sparring gloves you know why? everyone in the boxing world refers to them as boxing gloves.

And quoting a sales pitch, proves what? you do you know they sponsor those fighters they listed right?

                    Silly rabbits.

                      Hey. Hi

Quick question; what was wrong with the red stock Everlast MX that were approved by NSAC?

                      I'll wait.
