Why not? It's not like the Chinese would favour a Pilipino over anyone else. I think marquez will call the shots in this one though

      Pacquiao wins that fight though.
Abregu said he's back Late july, maybe on HBO.

Hoping the move of Rios to August 2nd means a maybe...but Pac don't fight Abregu on PPV w/o even a remote notable win

What the Pac worshippers on this site don't understand is Bob Arum's reasoning behind taking Pac's next fight to Macau. It is not because of the money it will generate. It is because Pac still owes the IRS a lot of money for past due taxes. I am sure the IRS seized his entire purse from the Bradley fight to pay the taxes from the Bradley fight and some of Pac's past due debt; yet he still owes them money. So, Arum is taking Pac's next fight to Macau so Pac will be able to keep the money from his purse for what may be the most lucrative fight of his career if he fights Marquez again.

Smart move by Arum. It is likely one of the bones Arum is throwing Pac to try to get Pacquaio to extend his contract.

He owes tax in the Philippines ($40 million) so won't do him much good unless he moves countries.

Jeez... how many title fights are gonna be on here?

            Pac/TBA
            Shiming/ some Jamoke
            Tso/ possibly Koehi Kono?

I also heard Salido/Miura being tossed around and totally possible to be on the cards.

I was going to buy the card regardless, but.... I swear to god they put Tso/Kono on the PPV for America.... I will strongly reconsider.

Possibly for Chinese PPV that cost what... 5 bucks? But not the 70 or so bucks I freaking spend on it...fuck no

Manny's last fight was against a WW title holder who was ranked high on the P4P list and was ranked higher than those 2 (Porter/Maidana) that were mentioned.

..... if you looked at Floyd's opponents with that same type of criticism, you would be heavily criticizing many of them.

Finally, Floyd fought his last fight against a fighter that they heavily promoted as a KO artist yet was not allowed to wear his own puncher gloves due to Floyd/Ellerbe ...... "health comes first" ...... so Floyd took away Maidana's only advantage 24 hours from fight night. A Maidana that was close to a 12-1 underdog,

                Pacquiao-JMM 5 in Macau = JMM 20M
                Pacquiao-JMM 5 in Mexico = JMM Less

its all about the money. the businesses in macau probably paying arum millions to be able to promote their local businesses and casinos and tourism. the money is not from pvp or from the gates but it will help to pay pacs guarantee and they'll not loss money even if they got low pvp. arum probably done better in pac-rios than pac-bradley 2. those deals could have been done under the table thus tax free, and pac doen't have to know about those deals.
