I don't see how that's a reach. If the ppv gets a mil
Buys and he gets even 50% that's already 67 mil including the 32 guaranteedComment

Not 32 on top of 67, the 32 comes out of... He gets upside, that means when things clear his 32 million guaranteed he gets extra.
He doesn't get 32 million and 50% of ppv.
1 million buys = $67 million
67M / 2 = 33.5m - 1.5m for Maidana - 3.5m for undercard = 28.5m - 32m for floyd.
At 1m buys, the show is 3.5m in the red on PPV numbers. Live gate makes up for it, so do sponsorships, but there are a hell of a lot of expenses. Goldenboy, Haymon, Maidana probably gets a cut of upside too, Shotime will get a cut.
What the article is saying, and what is true, is that at 1m buys, there isn't even close to enough money to give floyd 38m in ppv upside.Comment

Didn't Espinoza say that this fight needed to do 1.5 million just to break even?
And Forbes never factors in how much Floyd has to pay for expenses. Advertising, marketing, flights, insurance, etc - that all comes out of that $32 million guaranteeComment
