The team behind Panamanian boxer Guillermo "Felino" Jones have submitted a formal request to open the 'B' sample of his pre-fight drug test, which was taken in Russia prior to the canceled fight with WBA cruiserweight champion Denis Lebedev on April 25th.

The Legal Committee of the World Boxing Association reported that the procedure will be to fulfill the request, and also that it would be necessary for Jones and his team to be present when the test protocol was performed.

Just to let everybody know, Don King said the following last week:

And if anything was wrong they would go to the 'B' sample. There was never any 'B' sample with the test that they took [last Wednesday]. There was only one sample."

So there was indeed a B-sample Mr. King.
