    Khan 2.0 doesn't exist.

What's all this BS about Khan 2.0. Get real. Collazo probably barely even a top 20 WW, forget about WBC etc..rankings, they are a joke. Collazo was a good fighter about 6 years ago but now he is washed up, he doesn't even belong on an undercard on such a big event. He wasn't even in anybody's minds until he beat Ortiz? does Ortiz even fight anymore?

I'm a fan of Khan, he has a lot of heart and he will fight anybody but if we're being sensible and honest about this, he looked exactly how he should have looked against a washed up 2014 version of Collazo.

If he's not fighting Mayweather in september due to religious beliefs, then i hope he fights in December against someone like Robert Guerrero or the winner of Brook v Porter if they fight then we can see where he really is. I'm not saying he wins or loses those fights, but they will give us the real picture of where he is because this Collazo win proves literally nothing.

People on here get carried away over nothing.

this is true. khan looked impressive but he only looked impressive because his opponent was so mediocre. collazo showed zero defense, barely threw anything, was slow and just seemed very uninterested in winning.

i too am a khan fan but i'm not what you call a fanboy and i know when to keep it real and realistically khan didn't prove he could hang with the top guys at welterweight. he needs to fight someone like thurman or the winner of porter vs brook next to even be mentioned as a top contender.

The same people who are saying that he's a new fighter under Hunter now are the same people who were saying that he was a new fighter under Roach not too long ago.

Hunter hasn't done anything noticable with him that Freddie didn't - He still has no inside game, he still holds and pushes his opponents enough to get disqualified by any competent referee, he's still chinny, and he's still slow getting his left hand back up to his chin after firing it off.

But people will see what they want to see, I guess.

My prediction is that he gets KTFO'd again within a year.

          Agreed.

I see nothing new under Hunter from when he was under the coaching of Roach. Put him in there with a top WW and all will be revealed. Collazo is no measuring stick, he was slow, barely let his hands go, no defense etc...

or Porter. I think it would be developmentally good for either of them though probably bad for Khan after the 4th. Let Khan put his money where his mouth is, give Chino a rematch with Floyd, and let the winner fight the winner.

I thought he looked better in some ways, especially in the first half of the fight. His footwork was calmer and smarter, using angles to turn Collazo and keeping his lead foot on the outside, his punch selection was also better...

But its clear there are still flaws. In all honesty Collazo looked terrible (hold my hands up here i thought he still had something left), he looked lost for ideas and was only after the big one punch counter (which he was rarely in position to deliver).

I think also if Khan is going to completely suck on the inside then holding is a better look for him than pushing and running. More boring maybe, but for him its the best option.
