Why was Tony weeks taking directions from floyd during the fight?

I thought Weeks was good because he let the fighters deal with their equal amount of dirty tactics, instead of getting involved every 15 seconds like another ref would have. Don't expect him to ref another Mayweather fight though, can't believe Floyd kept crying about fouls the whole fight, it really surprised me.Comment

Weeks actually favoured Maidana
He's lucky not to have had the ref in Khans match otherwise both men would have lost countless pointsComment

I thought Weeks did a pretty good job... He never penalized Chino even if he warned him a lot... He allowed Chino to fight on the ropes...
He apparently did a good enough job that Floyd doesn't want him reffing in the next fight, LOL.Comment

Terrible reffing? Yet no mention of Maidana rabbit punches, hip shots, nut shots and knee attempts? Try being unbiased for one day of your pathetic life you troll.Comment

mayweather had nothing in his arsenal to stop maidana's assualt. this guy says he's the best ever but he clearly lost to a 12-1 underdog. mayweather's pillow punches merely bothered maidana. his excessive hugging, forearm thrust and low blows didn't even make a dent in maidana. a competent referee would've deductions some points. maidana won by the way.
