Kell brook real deal or hype job?

He has been mandatory for the IBF for a long time now and hasn't stepped up since Alexander had the title, I don't believe he will face porter either as he is a much bigger threat than Alexander. Also Khan would destroy Kell just as he did with Collazo and Brook is only using khans name to hype himself even further!
I don't think he's world class or elite level material, just a hyped up fighter with a protected undefeated record an still hasn't fought nobody in 32 fights

I expect the Porter fight to happen.

I also expect Brook to lose though.

he needs a huge step up, I don't even think he's ready for a title shot. If he does take on Porter, I see it over inside 6 rounds, Porter will be too much for him.

I like Brook, I'm giving him the benefit of doubt for now. I'll reserve judgment until he announces his next opponent.

Porter would be the right step up for him. It's not like Porter is Mayweather, he has flaws. I think stylistically, it's a bad fight for Brook but not level wise.

The definition of ordinary for me. But we'll see what happens when he steps up. Maybe he'll find another gear.

Porter has only looked so good because he's been able to smother guys with no pop. Brook has the power to keep porter honest and it will be a very different fight from his last two, he will have to come with a different game plan or he could get knocked out.

I think a fairer comparison would be the porter that fought Diaz. I think it will be a close fight that could go either way.

I still can't decide on Brook. I think he's got the skills to beat Porter, but i can't just make an honest judgement going off the quality of opposition Brook has faced. At this moment in time, i'd take both Porter & Khan to beat him.

Brook basically only fights over the hill fighters, or tomato cans. And he aint a kid anymore. He has been ducking fighters for his whole career. This is nothing new. He will not get in the ring with Porter. He's been as silent as a mouse on the Porter fight, no public declarations. Why? It's obvious. He will have to fight Porter, than probably Thurman. It took him is whole life to work up the courage to fight Alexander, and then mysteriously get injured twice. Now we're expected to believe he's going to step up to those two? GTFO.

If you spend your WHOLE career fighting soft opponents, it usually comes back to bite you on the ass. The first Carson Jones fight kinda shows how a Porter fight might go, only, Porter would do everything twice as good. I don't think Brook can take a war, a tearup. One hook from Porter and I expect him to fold mentally, and tactically.
