    Weakest division in boxing today?

What division do you think is the weakest in boxing today?

Here's a take on a few I think should be nominated:

Note: Don't really follow weights below Bantamweight.

    Lightweight:

    - There isn't even a champion in this division and no outstanding names. I think Terence Crawford is the best fighter in this division, but other than that - many of the better names in the division are british, domestic level fighters like Ricky Burns and Kevin Mitchell.

There's no excitement, especially since Broner left and it's really a division nobody cares for these days - a far cry from what it used to be. Just 5-6 years ago, this was one of the strongest divisions in boxing.

Hopefully Mikey Garcia will move up and Gamboa will be more active. That would make it a lot better.

    Middleweight

There's one exciting fighter in this division. One. And we all know who it is.

Sergio is past his best and is getting gifts vs the likes of Martin Murray, who's really not that good himself. There was potential of a good rivalry in British terms, but that's been ***ed up now by Andy Lee and Darren Barker - Thanks Felix Sturm.

I know a lot of people probably won't agree with this, but the main reason is that the best are not fighting the best. At all.

GGG keeps fighting bad opposition, Sergio is inactive, Quillin fights... well, who does he fight? There aren't really any hotshots on the horizon. Maybe Canelo moves up soon.

I would have said heavyweight if this was two years ago, it's brightening a little now, and Wlad is holding the torch for that one. If he wasn't around to vacuum up all the belts, only God knows what state that division would be in.

I also think Cruiserweight is full of the same guys being recycled.

    What do you think?

Maybe LW. The champs are pretty good, but everything else seems meh to me

Flyweight probably the strongest. Another former champ moving up to 112, but doubt he wins a belt.

Can't wait for Fuentes or Nietes move up to 112....more so for the former.

I think WW is definitely the strongest, but don't follow Flyweight at this time really, so can't say. It's damn near impossible to watch the japanese fighters etc.

LHW is definitely not great that's for sure. It's also lost a bit of it's depth recently.

The heavyweight division and it is not even close. A division filled with no hopers and out of shape has beens.

I think WW is up there because two of the biggest names are there.

Flyweight... damn near everyone in the top 12 were a champion at one point and like the top 15 have had championship experience.

Lot's of 108 pound champs have moved up and getting ready to fight the champs.

Plus, big fights are made down there.

            Estrada/Segura coming up

            Yaegashi/Roman Gonzalez coming up

To me, it doesn't have the big glamour names, but it's definitely the most stacked where people actually fight each other

There's a good amount of up and coming talent in the division that has made it a lot more exciting than what it previously was in my opinion.

It's not strong - but it's not Lightweight weak.

MW is good imo, plenty of good fighters. 154 is not much cop, 140 weakening too.
