8 to 4 Maidana add that to the list of crap NO-one with credibility ever said. turn off your computer take a nap wake up and watch 48 hours of Julio Cesar Chavez, Roberto Duran fights learn what effective aggressiveness is snd come back tomorrow ive been watch boxing since 1980, enough to know that if those Body shots were landing how much it would have taken out of Floyd also, enough to know that a Knockout puncher lands its going to hurt the fight perios, I grew up watching John Mugabi, Julian Jackson crack people when Everlast was th only glove company, I saw Leonard beat Duran, and Chavez beat Taylor, that's effective aggressiveness, not Hatton Junior performance the other night. If it was a street fight then yes you could say Chino would have won and you may have wanted to be him if you had a choice, but this is a boxing match and Chino was sloppy and getting his head bounced around like a rag doll. Your definitely on that good Kush and Alcohol

Maidana was getting off first which was key and why didn't Floyd use his footwork most of the fight and only in instances? It can't be because...he's 37 years old, can it?

No, Chino made him fight that way. Chino was pushing him against the ropes and bombs away. May have no choice but to trade in spurts. And if you believe that he did it for the fans, then you're a fool. He said so himself, he don't care about the fans cause at the end of the day they don't feed his family. I wonder where those millions of dollars came from?

...and it's killin his ego right now.
So, what you saying is he will retire and say "I'm tired of boxing, it doesn't interest me anymore". I won't doubt it a bit if he retires instead of giving Maidana a well deserve rematch. But like someone mention, even Roger said it, if the rematch happen that it will be a lot different. Well yes it would be, because May team will make sure that gloves size, brand, amount of padding, ring size, amount of punches allowed by chino and how hard will be in the contract. That's how he even the playing field you know what I'm saying?

stop with the Chino made him fight that way, Chino has terrible footwork, Did you not see the way Floyd moved against Canelo who outweighed FLoyd by more than what Chino did, Floyd can get on his bike and give Chino angle's anytime he wants, Chino has slow feet. Floyd didn't get old from September to now, He underestimated Chino and though since Khan hurt him that Chino would swing wildly get countered and knocked out he's going to fight Chino how he fought Guererro ducking under spinning him around and fans will say he ran. Chino didn't make him fight this way he though CHino would run out of gas like everyone else who fights him that way has. Floyd trains harder than anyone he can move and potshot for 12 rounds

Its amazing that people are buying Floyd's line of bull **** about fighting the way he did to please the fans when a few hours earlier he demanded that Chino wear pillows on his hands and the years of his avoidance of Pac. Mayweather fought the way he did because Maidana forced him to fight that way, thats the only reason for that. The referee started breaking them earlier in the middle and late rounds when Floyd was holding Chino while Chino was working and that helped Floyd a great deal.

Chino did run out of gas a little bit in the middle and late rounds but he was still able to clearly take the 8th and 12th if not also the 7th.

Robert Garcia is a very smart trainer and although I was taken a little bit aback, I wasn't really surprised that he conceded to go with the pillow gloves. 1.5 Mil is Chinos biggest payday. I hope the next time, Robert sticks to his guns and gets fair gloves for his fighter.

Lot of stuff coming out of Floyds camp about how his strategy will be different next fight but what folks aren't talking about is that I think we see a little different from Chino if they fight again. I don't think Robert Garcia or anyone else for that matter counted before the fight on how Chino would be able use his jab. Granted, he didn't use it enough in the fight but when he did, he was effective with it and it gave Floyd problems. I think Robert Garcia will have Chino smother Floyd again but I also think you will see him use more of the jab and i also think Chino wont be 165 on fight night but closer to 158-160.

Maidana won this fight 7-5 if not 8-4 and the position his people should take should be one from the point that they won. They shouldn't cave in to the glove nonsense, they should hold out for more money and they should make sure they get a referee that wont give in to Floyd Mayweather's pleading the way Weeks did. Right now this fight regardless of the awful decision has done a lot more for Marcos "Chino" Maidana than it has for Floyd "Money" Mayweather.

Floyd isn't retiring, he is in his emotions over his exfiance - Nelly thing he was saying that after all that crap came out, because of his insecurities only things that happen to him outside ring will make him retire. hes a controlling dude and to find out your ex is ****ing someone who does need you or your money destroys a person like that and especially bc everyone knows he feels ******, I have seen fighter get knocked out over purse distraction (time Witherspoon-Bonechrusher Smith II) Floyd is a little boy emotionally and the ring is the only place hes comfortable. he is messed up right his ex best friend 50 cent making videos about it wow? now he will be fine in a rematch and not leave money on the table for his Showtime contract. Floyd is never type to avoid stuff in the ring if money is right, but when it come to women and his personal life his isn't pound for pound and that stuff will retire him or send him to jail

May said he's gonna knock him out though, so what's your point? He underestimated him? Ok. Canelo, Guerrero, doesn't fight like Maidana. Maidana is so awkward and throws his punches in bunches and throws them in different angles. The dude has no pattern on his punches. May tried to pot shot him and end up against the ropes again. Why Chinos face is not busted up after May landed 230 punches? You are making excuses for him. He knows what Maidana can do and he took away the only chance he have of winning or hurting Floyd.

Are you his PR? You sounds like it. If he fight Maidana again would he let him use his usual gloves (the ones that the NSAC approve)? Or is he gonna make more stipulations to even the playing field on his favor again? Coz if he do let Chino wears his usual gloves, you are right, it would be a lot different result.

did you see khan vs Maidana or Alexander vs Maidana or even Maida Morales? his Problem has always been his footwork which is why he did better against straight forward fighters. Floyd could fight anyone the way he fought Baldomir and it would not be good for anyone he is in amazing shape he was going straight back to the ropes not in angles straight back, he wont do it again. its a smart move on his part to make better fights bc now the September PPV will be nuts. And Chino will be able to make more money but the next fight wont be as good. Floyd at his age can beat the Chino of the world, the Porters of the world, he needs to steer clear of Khan bc his reflexes are slightly declining and a boxer with range can make it a long night if hes no longer 100%
