    Seriously. I can't recall a single one.

Fastest way out of the contract is to drop the lawsuit and fight. Goosen has been nothing but good to Andre.
Guerrero and Garcia got all those fights

Mogens Palle did when him and Kessler was in dispute. He couldn't deliver though.

Another point that no one talks about is that the promoter invest money in the fighters, they don't start making money until these fighters start selling tickets on their own. The promoters are paying for a couple of years of development all those 4,6,8 rounders, staff, uniforms, lodging and travel. Etc. And then here comes another promoter and takes your fully developed fighter.
If I loose my job, I will flip butcher Of I were him I fight in espn. But he has to put his pride to the side. I guess it is hard when you see all theses C and B fighters getting 7 figures for showcase fights.
I fallow baseball and basketball and I don remember hearing this objection about numbers how much Derek Jeter makes or the ratings of the red sox.
SOG has talent but is not the BET & TMZ type and apparently that's what you need to be successful. I don't know about you but I don't care about numbers I'm the one paying, I care about the quality of the fight. Dan is spending money and time in the courts, finish your contract and then sign with who ever you want.
        This is all pretty true.
Goosen probably spent a lot of money and in all likelihood lost money during the first few years of Ward's career. Now he's wanting to recover and actually make a profit on Ward (which is his right), which is why he's going to fight tooth and nail in court over the contract.

Wards problem is he thinks himself a bigger star than he is He's a great fighter and the clear cut number 2 p4p fighter in the world, but like you said he doesn't have the TMZ fame, and unfortunately that doesn't pay that much.

"not having advantages" has absolutely nothing to do with why ward's not fighting right now, tunneybooboo. he's in a contract with a promotor who isn't getting him fights because he tried to get out of said contract.

Yes, it would appear that Ward has the wrong skin color as far as Freedom is concerned.

when it comes to making big fights ward hasn't got the right attitude.

            1. he sees himself as the draw when in any big potential fight it would be his opponent ... froch/chavez/ggg who would be the draw. this makes negotiations instantly very difficult.

            2. he calls out these guys occasionally but demands that they make all the concessions ... not just re weight (Dawson has to come down ... ggg has to go up etc) but also location ... I'll fight you ... in my home town.

            3. He's not willing to move up in weight where there are big names ... hopkins/stevenson/kovalev waiting.
goosen should cash ward out against kovalev in Russia and severe drug test him. the way he threw around froch who was the strongest SMW I ever saw he is on something

Is it really your promoters fought that you've cleaned out the division and there aren't any lucrative fights left? Go to 175 and quit blaming people Ward, you will dominate there

Great post. Ward needs to stop being a diva. He's a good fighter, but he's no star.

I am sure that the issue is not that the fights can't be made. It is that they can't be made for the money that Ward wants to make. If he wants the big money, he should move up to 175. He refuses to do that, but still expects to get paid $2 to $3 million per fight against the Sakio Bikas of the world.
