So the guy who could have one of the biggest fight in British boxing history, who is ducking Kell Brook himself, is saying that Brook will duck Porter lol?

Is Collazo really that much of a bigger name in the States than Kell Brook is in the UK?

Sorry but Khan-Brook would not be one of the biggest fights in British boxing history... And yes, one look at Collazo's boxrec will tell you he is a much much more credible opponent at 147 than Kell Brook right now. If Brook doesn't fight Porter then no way he should get a shot at Khan, he'd be less deserving of that then Khan is of fighting Mayweather!

Khan wants the Mayweather fight and a win over Brook right now would not make even a tiny splash across the pond. Brook needs to get a title at least to become relevant.

I skimmed through a couple of old threads and found that the following long time posters picked Collazo to beat Khan:

I agree, with Khan, I don't think Brook wants any part of Porter, especially in America. This is good though, they should have Khan and Porter fight and the winner gets to fight Floyd next May

Khan's inside information regarding the Brook-Porter fight being with GBP and in boxing in general. I really wanted Brook to take this fight so everyone can know if Brook is real or just one big hype. The guy has like 30+ fights and not even one good fighter on his resume. It's high time he stepped up.

As for Khan, he fought an old and washed up Collazo. We don't know how good he is at the moment so we need to watch him fighting a young and live opponent who comes to fight. Thurman would be my favourite to see Khan fighting, Peterson and Matthysse if they could move up, Garcia and Porter.

If Khan wants to face Mayweather next year he better avoid Thurman or Porter - both would KO him within 4 rounds. I have said for along time Thurman is the future of this division he has everything power, speed, infighting and can take a punch and adjusts to the opponent in the ring.
