I mean i don't blame them, its been 6 years at this point asking for this fight, but it just surprises me. Saying things like "It's water under the bridge at this point, they'll just fight at 40" or "the dream match is over, its not a dream match anymore". Of course max Kellerman wants it, but he seems to be the only one at espn that wants it now. All the writers seem annoyed when the subject comes up.

Are you surprised by ESPN's lack of interest in floyd vs manny now?

Floyd vs Manny is still the biggest fight out there. They are the two biggest boxing stars and everybody is gonna watch that fight, like it or not.

Still won't happen, Floyd is scared of Maidana, no way in hell he is fighting Pac.

They are still interested because the people on that network only know the Names Floyd Mayweather, Juan Manuel Marquez, Manny Pacquiao, and Bernard Hopkins. I have heard Andre Wards name get Mentioned by stephen a smith.

That's because a new monster is on the scene, Marcos "about sledgehammers" maidana, the welterweight version of Godzilla.

I think fans will tune In If and when the fight happens, but truthfully IMO and as far as I am personally concerned, I could take or leave the fight at this point.

It's still the biggest fight, but it will never be what it once was especially since both have shown signs of fading. People see this. It is what it is. Who cares about those ESPN guys anyway?

And Wilbon didnt have anything bad to say about Mayweather, when did that start happening. Yeah no one was interested today with Mayweather vs Pac on Around the Horn and PTI.

I"m surprisd at your interest in ESPN's coverage of boxing.

As for the fight...it's already well past it's peak date...I think most people recognize that was several years ago.
