    Karmazin to face Santos!

    Karmazin to face Santos!
    By Lee Bates
IBF junior middlweight champion Roman Karmazin (34-1-1, 21 KOs) signed to fight former two division world champion Daniel Santos (29-3-1-1NC) on May 6. The bout will be the co-main event to WBA super welterweight champion Alejandro "Terra" Garcia vs. Jose "El Gallo" Rivera championship bout. Though Karmazin wanted badly to fight Garcia, he's taking on a very dangerous opponent in Daniel Santos. "My goal is to unify the junior middlweight division and that plan was to begin by dethroning Garcia but that fight didn't end up happening," said Karmazin. "I'm takin on a dangerous opponent in Santos but I'm willing to go out and prove I'm a worthy champion by fighting a worthy challenger. Hopefully if Garcia and I win in impressive fashion there will be a push for us to unify." The card will be May 6th at the DCU Center in Worcester, Mass.

I think Karmazin wins if he fights as well as he did against Ouma but if he has an off night Santos is not the kind of fighter you want to be in the ring with that night.

I hate Santos, but I think that he can win this one.
