The more I re watch the fight, the more sloppy and wild Maidana looks, I see more misses the more I watch it. After the fight I had it 115-113 Floyd, now after studying every round, I got it 117-111 Floyd. . I had the same reaction with the Cotto fight, I thought it was close, then I watched it again. Maidana was relentless, but relentless doesn't score points, he was missing a whole lot, landed like a thousand rabbit punches, an occasional clean blow would get through but not enough to win rounds, Floyd was picking him apart, in the middle of the ring, Maidana got roasted, the jab was folding him like a chair to the stomach, the lead right was a laser. No way in hell Maidana won this fight. But Floyd will milk dumb a$$ fans and cash in on a rematch. . I guess Maidana isn't a cherry picked bum anymore.

Floyd could NEVER win with these people, had he made Maidana look foolish, they woulda just dismissed him as a bum, but because he fought him at his own game and looked ''vulnerable'' then he lost and is getting old.. Floyd is the only boxer in history who's not allowed to win a competitive fight, all the opponent has to do is make it rough and voila "Floyd lost!", Calzaghe won a close fight vs Hopkins (no problem), Pacquiao won a close fight vs Marquez (2nd and 3rd..no problem), Mayweather wins competitive fight vs Maidana (he lost, he's old, where's his legs..)

Arum already has Pacquiao lined up for Marquez/Alvarado winner.

Manny is more predictable than Maidana, not as strong but is faster with better footwork. Manny isn't that accurate but he does have better stamina. I don't think he hits harder but both present stylistic issues for Floyd.

In total punches mayweather won by only 9 punches, this fight was very very close, i think Floyd won by one round not that crap of 111-117 112-116.

How do you expect to be taken you seriously? U want to go back and rescore a fight that already happened. You do understand that the live effect of scoring the fight is one of the intrigue of boxing and several elements come into play i.e. crowd roars, punches thrown and landed in live action as opposed to scoring it afterwards with some preconceived bias which forces to try to fight something that isn't there. While you are doing that, why don't you go back and re-score Floyd - Castillo 1 and really tell me that Floyd won that fight? No need to draw parallels cos it makes you look like a fanboy. Scoring a fight with all the live elements can't be perfect, it just has to be decisive enough to award the fight to the true winner. Unlike most on here, I believe Floyd won the fight 7-5, 115-113, the same way I thought Pac - Bradley 2 was closer as well with Pac edging it out. Rather than a worthless rematch which Floyd is just going to box around Chino, fans should all collectively be pushing for Floyd vs. Manny to happen especially after seeing some vulnerability in both. These are the only 2 special fighters right now in this era, with maybe the exception of Hopkins and it would be a travesty if that fight doesn't happen.

I had it 115-113 for Floyd but I wouldn't had been surprised if it was in favor of Maidana. That's how CLOSE this fight was. Maidana wins the rematch.
