Opinion has gone back and forth, before the Garcia fight, I guess Matthysse would have picked up 70-80% of the votes here and now I guess it will be the same for Maidana.

I think it's a 50/50 fight.

He hits just as hard as Maidana, but has much more technical talent and a much better defense. Then again, Mayweather had that **** too and he still looked like garbage against Chino, so who knows?

All I know is that it'd be an instant FOTY frontrunner if it ever were to happen and that the fight, as of right now, makes no sense for either guy.

Thought Maidana had a good chance, before the Floyd fight, simply because Matthysse seems to get rattled when things don't go his way. He made some dumb mistakes against Molina, but fought back well eventually so it'd still be a back n forth fight. Can't really forget that Maidana won 3 outta 4 in the Ams against Matthysse, but they were all close fights.
