I can't see Broner winning a fight against any B or higher fighter with heavy hands @ 40 or 47. He showed no signs of improvement last night and until he changes that I will stand by that statement

Matthysse would knock him out. He is even more relentless than Maidana and faster and more accurate with his combinations. Broner could not even KO a 2nd class Khan leftover so he is not going to hurt Lucas. Broner has not knocked anybody down in the three fights he has had above 135 and he is not a big puncher at the heavier weights. The guy that knocked Lucas down twice in his last fight is a much better puncher than Broner.

It's a goodish fight, Matthysse probably takes him out early because Broner takes 5 rounds to get into a fight.

As long as Broner can only manage about 30 punches a round he won't beat skilled punchers like Maidana and Lucas who throw about 80 punches a round and most of them very hard punches. I think Broner lifts too many heavy weights and it slows him down and hurts his stamina. 140 pound boxers don't need to be bench pressing almost twice their weight as Broner does. He has more of a body builder build than the build of a boxer.
