Very true, but at this stage of his career Manny can be hurt. It began with the Margarito fight, that wore Manny out due to the quite frankly ridiculous size difference. JMM put a dent in his chin but didnt completely crack it, manny can still take a shot, but how good of a shot, and how many from a strong guy like Maidana is the question.

You could see even yesterday, Maidanas power caught Floyds attention, marked him up, and forced him to be very careful the whole fight, he didnt move much because his legs are nearly done, but he was being so careful the whole fight, he respected that power. And floyd bias etc aside, the guy has shown a decent chin when he has been caught, and hes fought some good punchers.

IDK what are you talking about. If Pac is weak he shouldn't be able to give a one sided beating with these guys he fought having 10-17 lbs advantages over him. They could easily toss up him around like a little rag doll. During clinch on these guys in fact it was Pac was able to pushed them aound not the other way.

Maidana doesn't just come at you with the intention of pressuring his opponents and keeping the fight in the center of the ring. He attacks his opponents with intention of trapping them against the ropes and use every bit of his weight to keep the fight against the ropes. No matter how great Manny is at letting his hands go, he'd have a tough time at keeping Maidana off of him.

And to think of it, Maidana was supposed to be a total mismatch.

Pacman has been KO'd before. Singsurat Medgoen put him down pretty good and so did another asian fighter. And...Pacman came back and went on to launch a blitzkrieg in the US.

Maidana bent low and use his jab as a pushing range-finder to close in on his opponents and trap them against the ropes. He's a tough swarmer to catch on the way in because he's not squaring up himself to give you an easy target. With that being said, Manny would beat on the outside, but Maidana would hurt and might even drop him with a looping overhand right[same punch that JMM dropped him with before the final KD/KO].

Though Manny has a heck of a lot of lateral movement-- When Chino attacks he's gotten very good a rolling up a guy in the Philly Shell, and pushing back more conventional boxers. Trying to do that with Pac is more likely to end up with Pac beside him and Chino out of position. At this stage in the game it would be a high drama fight (but in the good way). LOL. I'd have to take a sedative before the fight.
