If he fought Maidana the way he did against Guerrero I don't think Maidana would have won a single round. I think you have to give Floyd the benefit of the doubt here. He's dominated guys who are far better fighters than Maidana. Maybe Floyd has slowed down and guys are catching up to him. Maybe not. In any case, if he keeps this offensive minded mentality he will not stay undefeated since it's not really his game. He needs to go back to boxing like the pure boxer he is.

Mayweather seems like a good guy, while giving back-handed compliments like, "I could have made it easy, but I wanted to give the fans an entertaining fight."

That's bulls*hit. He went in there with a competitor, did all the running and boxing he wanted to, but Maidana kept finding ways to catch him. He refuses to admit when he's gone up against someone who can actually mark him, hit him, or even hurt him.

He talks of a rematch, but makes sure to include words like "IF we do it again..." and, "I don't know what I'm going to do next, but..."

He talks of protecting fighters, while really just trying to make sure Maidana can't hurt him. Remember, he told Manny Pacquiao that, one of the reasons he didn't want to fight him was because he has nothing else after boxing. Mayweather doesn't want either guy to get hurt, but that's mostly to protect his own "0" in the L column.

What win? Oh the one he's already made 9 excuses for? Keep your head up Roid, there's still those who need a hero that will deny your third loss to a latino fighter.
