Maidana fought a 37 year old and had regular gloves on. He lost. Simple as that. No matter how much you love him and hate Floyd, nothing is gonna change the result of the fight.

That's what Floyd is banking on. He's got the W, he's got the money. He doesn't care if people think he's a fraud by forcing Maidana into sparring gloves.

I wanna congratulate you and him. He fought a great fight. He was also shafted of his gloves and a decision. I had winning 7-5 but that's besides the point.

I've always been critical of him and I still dont think he's a very good fighter but sometimes it isn't about your tools but how you use them. And Maidana knows how to make his work. Sometimes it's harder to fight an awkward dude like Maidana than a more methodical opponent like, let's say, Marquez. From now on you will never hear me say one bad thing about the guy. He has earned respect.

The supposedly ONE DIMENSIONAL CHINO beat the oh so great mayweather with SPARRING GLOVES. How more embarrassing does it get? Seriously?

All the haters have to deal with it for the rest of your lives.

Most people spar with 16oz gloves not 8oz gloves. Do you spar with 8oz gloves? It would explain the brain damage

I still think Maidana is an overrated fighter, but he fought really well yesterday. Big respect to him.

Overrated? Depends how you look at it and what you mean by it. Sure he's not very technical and pretty awkward but last night he proved his worth.

I'm a fanboy like everyone else but I give props where its due. Maidana made all Latinos proud last night. Whether you think he won or lost.
