It may not be mainly for money but when you seek recognition and fame, money always go with it buddy. And why do you think Team Rubillar made such an offer?
i do get your point its probably mine that you dont understand
actually i dont give a damn whether they slug it out or not , but from a patriotic point of view, it isnt pleasing to see. i know that situations like this will soon happen as many pinoy boxers are entering big gamefights, but i think now really is the only time when a lot of filipinos are on a winning streak and gaining much deserved respect on the boxing world. i dont know where you are but the news of a pinoy beating a foreign competitor here in the phils brings euphoria even to the most remote provinces. try telling that a filipino beating up another filipino would more of a mourning. the fight can go on but it wouldnt be something their countryman would be paying to see, much less be interested in the result. filipino boxing audience arent yet that matured.

I didn't miss your point and I know where your line of arguement is coming from . As I said these are proffesional fighters and irregardless who holds the title, surely they're going to go for it.

Patriotism? Ask Rubillar's handlers and management if they feel a bit of it by laying out a trap to force Villoria to fight their boy.

      I know this is sad.
