Credit where credit is due. Khan did better than I though he would, and showed that he had little rust and still had the will to fight. He fought a disciplined fight and didn't go off plan. It was still mostly dreadful to watch, and he's still chinny as all hell.
Why are people so hyped up about khans performance?

That's my problem. I expected Khan to look impressive. People were overrating the **** out of Collazo, apparently deciding to deny that he was pretty far past it.
I can't get that hyped up yet. Good sign, saw some good things and some bad. I'll wait for a more legit opponent before getting excited. I hope Khan becomes a player at 147, because he's exciting to watch.Comment

I agree with staying disciplined for most of the fight, and being a little rusty, but really he did what we all expected him to do. The big question was would he get put to sleep. As far as I saw, he's still there to be put to sleep. And he really looked lost when he wasn't allowed to hold, just hanging around in the pocket taking shots(when collazo would actually throw).
I give credit to him for beating a good/legit fighter in collazo, but I'm not gonna go overboard like others are with the hype.Comment

I don't know if that was aimed at me, but I'm not going to cry over being wrong on that-- I thought he'd be rusty and wasn't really serious anymore. I was wrong, but that still doesn't mean that I think Khan's all that (and he wasn't).Comment
