The only person with Maidana's (from last night) style is Shawn Porter not all these guys who stand there and try to throw shots. That will not work so stop the bull.

If you think Maidana won, he will get a chance to prove himself in September and let's see if he will win a minute let alone a round.
You don't think Keith Thurman was watching I'm sure he can do the same. I do agree Shawn Porter would retire Floyd just like he did to Paulie. I rather have Shawn Porter be the new cash cow rather than Giftweather this would bring back boxing back to the Iron Mike Tyson days instead of boring tag and run hell Floyd should invent a boxing league similar to that Karate point where they strike and stop

You waste precious breaths of air and time you cannot get back by making creative diss's about the man and you pay to see him fight - floyd kicked Maidana's arse and will really *** him up in a rematch, rabbit punches all night, kneed him a couple of time, low blows etc, around the 5th or the 6th is when floyd made his adjustments - people like you really rate floyd high because you are xcited that maidana put up a good scrap, take your creativeness and do something constructive with your time because boxing is not thw sport for you, i think you should take up crashing into parked cars or something

If Deontay Wilder is saying it, you know it's true. Black boxers stick together.

You guys don't get it...Mayweather didn't fight Pacquiao for one reason: because Pacquiao wanted a serious fight. Mayweather wants to "protect the fighters for life after boxing," and that means he expects his opponent, and the ref, to work FOR him. He expects them to be happy with their huge payday and take it easy on him. To take a few of his clean, pot-shot counters that 'ooh' and 'ahh' the crowd, maybe rough him up on the ropes a few times, and slide into the 12th with nary a scar.

From 2007-2010, Pacquiao would have KO'd Mayweather. He would have lumped up his face and probably taken Floyd out of the ring forever. Even now, he's still a threatening combatant - though less than what he used to be. Mayweather complained to the ref all night because Maidana was doing things that worked. Was he rough and dirty at times? Sure, but Mayweather always elbows his opponents on their way in; cups their mouth with the palm of his glove as he holds their head so they can't breath; and wrenches their arms away from the view of the ref. He's just slick when he does it, where a guy like Maidana was sloppy.

If they fight again, there's no way Mayweather allows this stuff to happen. Yes, he's one of the greatest defensive fighters ever, but more than that, he'll rig the gloves, the ref, and leverage the opposing camp by threatening to pull the plug on a rematch.

Please no rematch......Maidana won't be as hungry, Floyd will have a sensitive ref and I want to see different fighters on this contract he has.....plus I'm tired of him fighting dudes with a shorter wing span and making that pull counter look great....fight someone with a 3-4" inch reach advantage for a change....and someone at least 5'10" or 5'11".

I will watch it too Wilder, the win must be decisive enough.

the rematch would be a waste of time, theres nothing maidana can do differently to yield a different result, floyd only has 3 fights left, we need to see better fights

Deontay means "can't throw a jab" in at least 8 minor languages.
