Khan doesn't want the fight in September due to Ramadan. He's likely the May 2015 opponent.
My guess is there won't be all that much demand for the Maidana rematch, the fight was kind of ugly and I think most objective viewers agreed that Mayweather pulled it out. When PPV returns come back I think Showtime/CBS will find them to be slightly disappointing also.
Pacquiao/Bradley/Provodnikov are all unlikely choices because of Bob Arum.
Shawn Porter and Keith Thurman's handlers will likely want to wait until 2015 before putting their guy in there against the best by having them fight each other at the end of the year. Mayweather probably also realizes that an all-American clash with the winner of Thurman vs. Porter could be a BIG chance to do good box-office.
Erislandy Lara won't be ready in time for a September date after the Canelo fight.
Robert Guerrero, Juan Manuel Marquez, and Canelo Alvarez all suffered losses too lopsided for Mayweather to give them a rematch.
154 is probably Mayweather's last weight class also, so no moving up to 160 to rematch Cotto or fight GGG or Sergio.
There's only one name I can see being the opponent now, and it's not as attractive of a choice as it was maybe a few months ago:
Danny "Swift" Garcia. Mayweather vs. Garcia September 2014, book it.
