People can say whatever they want about how Margarito was shot going into the Pacquiao fight. It's just not true. He was beaten by Mosley, yes, but he was still an oncoming train in the Pac fight. Look at those early rounds. Margarito was himself, or something very close to it. The same applies for Hatton, who went into the Pacquiao fight coming off one of his best performances. Manny was the one who aged them. Pacquiao doesn't get enough credit for those wins.

There was one round, I forgot which, during which Maidana gassed and he started boxing and he actually out-boxed Floyd for a majority of that round. Crazy.

Give Floyd some decent head movement and he starts looking sloppy and missing shots looked like that to me at least in the ortiz fight. Close fights with maidana, a shot cotto and a shot dela hoya and who knows hat would have happened had he not avoided others.
