I didn't really do a very focused scoring job. My son was in the room so i was slightly distracted. Some of my rounds might be wrong. I invite you all to post your scorecards here.
Basically I had Maidana winning the first 5 rounds with Floyd winning the last 7. From round 6 and on Maidana seemed to take his gas off the pedal just enough to allow Floyd to be able to counter effectively.
Rounds 2,4,8, and 11 were all very close rounds. The 11th I think Floyd literally just stole it with the last 2 clean punches. the 8th was just as close but without any real definitive punches to sway me like the 11th.
Scoring is a very subjective art and everyone has their own factors for determining it. I think the main potential for controversy here is how much do you value ring generalship. In some rounds Floyd out points him yet is roughed up in an uncomfortable position that El Chino is employing.
The rematch here can be very interesting, because yes, Floyd adjusted in the second half of the fight and seemed to adapt properly, and that should carry over into their next fight. However, how much of Floyd's success in the second half was due to Maidana simply gassing. In some of the rounds where maidana won, he had the a great edge in the round yet he was still flooring it. If he simply gains the edge in a round and then tactically conserves his stamina better, it could mean we have a much closer second half next time.
