Definitely. Floyd's reputation as undefeated/unbeatable massively benefits him. Maidana would be clearly winning a round muscling him into the corner and landing 10 times to the body then Mayweather would finally spin out of it and flick Maidana's head back with a jab. With any other opponent that would have been Maidana beating him up and encountering only superficial resistance.
With Mayweather every time he landed a single punch the breath went out of the building and the announcers (and people on this forum) seemed to react like "Oh well, Maidana had a good run, but looks like this one is over."Comment
