Devon Alexander: No one taught Maidana a lesson like me

Alexander is going in hard on twitter!

Retweeting stuff about him giving Maidana a lesson better than anyone else. Him beating Maidana easier than Floyd did.

Even says how can you say you're the best when you've beaten a lot of tomato cans.

    Alexander-Mayweather in September?

He has the right to talk **** until a rematch takes place. Deal with it.

Alexander/Maidana looks more and more anomalous by the fight.

He's right, and he'd do it again given the chance.

I never make concrete predictions about fights because I know the unpredictable nature of boxing. However, I was 100% Chino would beat Devon's ass and was shocked when he didn't.

I don't think you can easily wipe a fight from a fighters resume, especially as it wasn't when he was a very young fighter, and that fight still has some merit of course - but I do now consider that fight as close to an aberration in boxing as it is possible to get. That fight is an outlier on Chino's resume. When you give the great Floyd Mayweather hell, you can consider that fight a greater indicator of a fighter's talent and career.

The Maidana who faced Alexander is different to the one who faced Mayweather. That Maidana was ready to retire.

Exactly. This version of Maidana beats his ass like Porter did
