Floyd's decline puts him back on par with Pacquiao

Seeing Pac's last few fights made me think Floyd would destroy Pac at this stage and made me lose all interest if they fought today. But after seeing Floyd's lame performance against an amateur like Maidana, it became clear he has declined just as much as Pacquiao.

It looks like if they do fight, it will still be as competitive as it would have been in their primes. Sort of like how Ali and Frazier's best fight was when they were both past their primes in their 3rd fight.

I think there is still hope that if they do fight, we can still be treated to a classic of two of the best, past their prime but still two of the best regardless.

Floyd hasn't declined that much, Maidna is just awkward, and bad stylistically for his defence.

      Nope. He will get iced.

If a 15/1 underdog and not even in the p4p list can do that to him.

Pac will bust him up easy.

Heck Chino was suppose to be schooled and look what happened this slow footed boxer no disrespect chino gave Floyd fits.

Pac's aggressiveness and angles plus fast foot work and hard punches will daze Floyd all day.

No contest. Pac will school this hype job. Floyd looked flat footed in there. he cant even turn when a freight train is on his way.

Pac in his prime catches Mayweather. The awkward angles are Floyd's kryptonite.

Current Pac still beats this version of Mayweather, but less dramatically.

How right you are. If only he did these to Marquez, he would not be the one kissing the canvas.

lets 4get manny fought marquez x4 times.....not x2 times. X4 times...x4 training camps of studying manny style.

Just think if floyd had the chance to fight somebody x4 times.

And floyd and marquez might both be counter punchers but floyd and marquez dont fight the same. There diffrent type of counter punchers. Those punches manny landed on marquez woulda killed floyd

I see it more than a bad style match up than a decline...floyd always looked unimpressive vs a decent pressure fighter...

Pac delivered his face first both hands on his waist against Marquez punch. PAC learned his lesson well and doubt he will do that again. Anyway Marquez and Floyd fought differently. Maidana laid the blue print to beat Floyd right now and can copy those fight plan but only more effective and deadly.

same thing as it was vs cotto

                    the guy cannot handle pressure

put him in there with another counter-puncher(preferably shorter) and he's mr unbeatable again
