    The myth that is Mayweather

Now don't get me wrong, Mayweather is a tremendous fighter, ATG and hall of famer.

But the notion that some of his slurpers have, that he is SO untouchable, and that he is TBE (many truly believe this, LOL) is just ridiculous.

The fact is as we saw today, he's not the God many have him as, many of his wins are against average overhyped fighters, fighters who are good but not great.

Every true hall of fame name that he faced gave him significant problems. past prime grandpa Mosley almost Knocked him senseless, past prime DLH gave him a really tough fight (despite what the slurpers say), well past prime Cotto who was shot to ***** after being beaten to a bloody pulp by Margarito and Pacquiao bloodied him up and gave him a tough fight despite losing clearly.

And you have people on here saying Floyd would beat Manny in a 12-0 shutout LMFAO (J the Unbiased makes this claim)

People gave Manny schit after he beat a top 3 p4p guy, whilst Mayweather goes life and death with a guy not ranked in the top ten p4p and gets outlanded in power punches.... yet Pac is a washed up bum... smh.

Mayweather fans also moan about the so called robberies wherePacquiao outlanded JMM, but will make this fight out to be some kind of shutout, despite Floyd being outlanded in power punches.

Mayweather is shot by the way, he showed age tonight, reflexes, fluidity of movement, speed, accuracy, his last hurrah was against the drained inexperienced Canelo, although that was a good win.

They'll be really careful with who they match Floyd up with if he decides to continue, he'd probably beat Maidana in a rematch again but the physical decline is there to be seen. It was bound to happen the man is 37 ffs.

I don't know if that's the case. Maidana really beat up his body in the first half of the fight and stayed in his grill all night long. Of course, Mayweather is not 28 anymore, but Maidana being a bad a$$ had something to do with it.

cmon u have to give props to both fighters bro ! i understand that there are many biased fans out there

but maidana looked great today he would give a run for their money to anyone in the division, and floyd did win a clear desciscion IMO.

They guy didnt look to what we are acustomed with but maidana had a lot to do with it not many can sustain that kind of style against floyd, and not many take the shots as weel, maidana was walking thru some thundering blows in there.
