It seems that Mayweather is having a hard time with pressure fighters and fighters that throws barrage of punches as proved by Maidana and we all know that PAC is a pressure fighter too and loves to throw barrage of punches too plus he has the speed too.
Pacquaio pressured Marquez in their first fight and knocked him down three times in the first round. The fight ended in a draw. Pac pressured Marquez in their fourth fight and got KTFO. Pac would stand no chance against Mayweather, although I am sure Arum will claim he would while promoting Pac's next fight against Provodnikov or Marquez.

Regarding your argument, Mayweather can't knock Pacquiao out so basing it in your argument, the worst case scenario will be a draw. What I'm just saying is Pac has a chance. I did not said that Pac WILL beat him.

Maidana fights nothing like Pacquiao. Pacquiao is more of a boxer than you guys give him credit for. He like to stay at medium range and pick guys apart with the straight left-sort of like Floyd with his right only less effective. And if you start to exchange with Pacquiao he wouldn't mind standing toe-to-toe with you BUT by no means does he deliberately go in and start to rough you up like Maidana does. He doesn't really have an inside game. I think Maidana vs Pacquiao would make for a terrific match-up though.

Maidanas dirty tactics? Chino simply responded to Floyds incessant holding. The ref was quick to break them and not let Chino work as the fight went on so that Mayweather would be able to manipulate it more.

That decision is a black eye for the sport of boxing.

Maidana wasn't supposed to win a round or land a single real lunch according to some of the experts on here. Pacquiao, especially a few years ago, would have been an incredibly stiff test at the very least. I'd pick 2009-2010 Pacquiao over Floyd. I don't think he'd have liked the pace.

Mayweather uld have to be first all the time against pac. He lets pac get off first and he goes in that shell pac will put him in that shell the whole fight. Pac's naturally a combination puncher with endless stamina.

Pac's combination punching, weird angles, speed, would give Floyd major problems. Prime pac would have beaten mayweather no doubt.
