I can can accept that score. I had it a draw but, I can see Floyd winning by one. Great fight!

On my card Maidana won by 1 round mostly because he threw more significant shots. It could easily be a draw. It could easily be Mayweather winning by 1 round. 117-111 is absurd.

However like I said during the fight I felt Floyd would receive the nod because judges tend to play it safe and score the cleanest shots. Most of Maidanas punches were landed while Floyd was trying to tie him up and not as visible/audible. Next time you ask why fighters "refuse to target the body" remember this fight. Judges ignore that in favor of flicking your opponent's head back with relatively harmless 1-2s.

The coward who dictates his fights as though he is the commission, promoter and sanctioning body rolled into one, narrowly survives.

Oh well. I wasn't even planning on watching this fight. Thanks to Maidana for making it far more interesting than the usual Mayweather snoozefest.

      Checking around the net now:
USA Today scored it a draw
      SBNation scored it a draw
What did other play-by-plays score it?

That's to hit a fighter who uses the roll or leans his head back it's design to hit the ear

I don't have a problem with Floyd winning.

However, he looked like **** in there. No rematch necessary. Amir Khan has got the speed and stamina to take over where Chino left off and land some of these flurries more cleanly.

I am genuinely shocked that people saw this as a remotely close fight, I really don't see it. I'm not sure what the commentary in the US was like, but BoxNation called it spot on. 116-112, competitive but clear.

With all that holding and elbowing, Floyd is lucky he didn't get DQed, thankfully he paid the right people.

Had it 7 to 5 rounds in favor Floyd, but jesus, he had a very tough challenge in there, no robbery, close fight but Floyd winning is ok.

LOL Boxing fans are so foolish.

Mayweather won by atleast 2 points ahead.

That performance by Floyd just made washed up Pacman looked 100 times better lol, Pac fought a much better faster craftier opponent in Bradley and out classed him. Floyd was missing some crazy shots against a tailormade opponent.

Devon Alexander had easy work with Maidana, Floyd forced Maidana to use those padded gloves too, Floyd got exposed bad in this fight.

Those scores were ridiculous I had it a draw.
