GBP needs to get it together and start signing these fighters to their stable. A verbal agreement between Schaefer and Haymon is just not good enough.

I mean as the CEO of Golden Boy what was Schaefer thinking. Al Haymon can just jump ship and go to Mayweather promotions with all his fighters.

Thats exactly what they were thinking. If not Mayweather, someone with just as big a face. The company will be identical to GB, except that the face of the company won't be caught in as many fiascos.

How much money has Oscar invested in GBP. The more I start to consider things, is the more fucked up things are becoming in my head.

You have Al Haymon fighters being paid more than a reasonable sum for fights promoted by GBP. If Showtime is footing the bill, it is whatever; but if Golden Boys Promotion is paying the fighters' salaries, things become somewhat fucked up.

They'd essentially be using Oscar's money to lure fighter's to GBP, with the promise of reasonable wages, knowing that when the time is right they will move all of the fighters to a different brand.

The companies core assets are essentially in its fighters, so if they are tied down they're almost worthless long term.

I believe ODLH just voided any alleged "non-compete clause" with a publicly stated vote of no-confidence in the way Richard was running the company.
