Floyd should fight GGG. Cotto is fighting Sergio, so Floyd should try equal what Miguel is attempting, or prepared to do.

Lets say Maidana is Floyds easy or interim fight, we'll allow him a cherry pick, but then expect him to get back to business end.

Yes similar to what Cotto is doing and what Duran did against Barkley. Floyd needs to be a bit more spontaneous and not so predictable. Mix it up a little. Like RJJ did against Ruiz and then come back down.

Once Floyd beats GGG, he can come back down again, make his career a little more interesting.

I guess it's possible, but remember this dude started out at approximately 130 and can barely even make 154. Duran and RJJ have bigger builds so it's easier for them to gain and still keep everything in tact, on top of Duran starting at 135 and RJJ at SMW but Floyd fighting GGG wouldn't even really make sense. I'd rather GGG fight Sergio, Ward or Carl Froch than someone 14 pounds lighter than him.

Floyd probably stutters and blows it.

I think if Lara beats Canelo in their big PPV this July, he's the best choice. If Martinez beats Cotto and finishes out his contract with HBO, it would be a pretty big fight for the legendary middleweight crown at stake. A Pacquiao fight isn't likely to happens anytime in the immediate future due to promoter and network politics.

Maybe if Keith Thurman/Porter/Garcia fight each other or have one or more big wins they could be a realistic option, but probably not at this time--Porter might be the front-runner among the three since he's the one carrying a title at 147 (unification fight perhaps?).
