Golden Boy trying to use the Mexico/Puerto Rico rivalry, thinking Puerto Ricans will side with the Cuban just to see a Mexican boxing star lose. Far-fetched but possible.

I find it pretty ****** (or maybe done purposely) that a Cuban is fighting and they're not stopping in Miami.

How does Lara benefit from any of these stops? Sure he trains in SA but that's mostly Mexicans there. Maybe NY but that place is a melting pot. And PR? Wtf

The only thing that makes senses as far as promoting in Puerto Rico is Golden Boy wanting to match the winner against Cotto.

Nah, Canelo is a Superstar. He is loved by everybody; Puerto Ricans, Mexicans, Americans, etc.

The only people who hate him are Cubans. But come July, they're gonna get on their knees and kiss Canelo's feet... including Mr. No Fan Base & Boring Lara.

Canelo is not losing to Lara, no ****in' way.

Isn't Oscar popular in P.R? He is married to a Rican, too.

I mean, it's Oscar... the biggest PPV star of all time.

They should have their girlfriends/wives abort babies and then threaten to cancel the fight if the sun doesn't shine on a certain number of days. Since NSB apparently believes those are techniques designed to sell a fight. Gotta count those 10 people who might actually buy a PPV for so ****** a reason.
