I respect Baldomir because of the life he pulled himself out from, prior to his almost magical run, but it's sad how he sounds sore right here

How is it not impressive for a guy who started his career at welterweight to move up in weight to fight the heavy-handed lineal middleweight champion of the world (who had never lost at the weight) and beat him in pretty dominant fashion (simultaneously becoming the best fighter at 154 and 160 holding 4 titles between the two divisions)? He then follows it up with a 2nd round KO over the #1 middleweight contender and the #3 P4P fighter of the world in Paul Williams.

Martinez has beat the following current and former world champions: Kelly Pavlik, Paul Williams, Chavez, Jr., Darren Barker, Sergehiy Dzinziruk, Kermit Cintron. Also beat top middleweight contenders Martin Murray and Matthew Macklin.

That's not a bad resume at all.

Blatant ass robbery right there. Sergio KO'd his ass and Kermit was acting like he got headbutted. How that fight was scored a draw is beyond me.

Baldomir is right in that Martinez does invent stories. He pretended Murray was trying knee him in his knee after he was embarrassed in BA.

Baldomir better shut up. He was a disgrace to argentine fighters with his weak punch and he was never more than an gloryfied journeyman. Boring fighter and one of the lamest champs ever.
