then again Mayweather/Ellerbe ALSO objected to the approved red gloves so its all a moot point. they were trolling to mess with Maidana before the fight.

But he didn't. He ordered a normal MX model with a different model # because of a custom color scheme. The fact that Everlast is willing to provide technical/legal evidence really suggests that, like virtually everyone involved is saying, Mayweather was just trying to make Maidana lose sleep over the fight not happening.
Those customs were paper thin, even a moron can see, obviously some child labourer in the production plant over in Mexico didnt make the gloves to a high standard. Is it Maidanas fault? No.... Garcia was ready to use them because he wants an advantage for his fighter over Floyd, and who can blame him? his fighter stands very little chance of winning, if you can get away with an advantage, why not?

Floyd caught them out, and the commission ruled the custom batch were poorly padded, however also ruled Madiana can infact wear the MX stock models, to which Floyd protested, most likely on some ego trip

Everlast will never admit they made faulty gloves, that's bad business

If the gloves are supposed to have certain specs, but then what's delivered is faulty, thats the error of the manufacturer. The only thing Everlast could possibly do to confiscate the gloves and prove there is no error. But again, what is the liklihood they would discredit themselves even if they find fault? They will never do so.

Stop slurping. He has paper trail and is willing to provide it.

If it's custom made then they could have made it with less padding. Just saying,

Lol @ "inside information" being bs from the Everlast rep. Because salesman are always to be trusted. You guys can be so gullible.

Floyd was dead wrong for throwing a tantrum over the red ones, which were approved, and you could see it in their faces that they were just causing problems at that point. But, the blue ones were obviously sketchy.

I'm pretty sure all of their gloves are hand made, why would they make these specific ones with less padding? Only difference is the color

Obviously because they were requested to. When you're fighting at that level, they make the gloves exactly how you like them. I'm betting the brought the reds knowing that the blue might get rejected.
