  • Comments Thread For: Groves: The Thing About Froch, He Tells A lot of Lies

George Groves has continued his pre-fight verbal battle with Carl Froch by branding the IBF and WBA super-middleweight champion a liar. Speaking to Sky Sports News, Groves raised the temperature of the eagerly awaited clash once again.

Groves said the pair's last meeting, which saw the challenger being shoved to one side by Froch during a photocall at Wembley Stadium, was a sign that his opponent was "losing his cool".

"I don't need to get under his skin- if he winds himself up that's his problem"

Nah, I'm pretty sure you've been doing your best to get under his skin and wind him up George.

I'm hoping the real Carl Froch turns up for the rematch and shuts this Ginger bellend up once and for all.

Honestly this young guy hurt FROCH like no one did before,FROCH must deal with this.CARL FROCH went to the fight like he was fighting a chinny-baby except after notice he was fighting a tough young guy that put him to the canvas very quicly and hurt him several times during the fight accepting a war without fear!!! I can't wait for the rematch!!!

if froch is a liar, then you are a pathetic, immature, snitch, snitching about frochs comments to Kessler, sniching to the ibf and bbc, snitching to eddie, bottom lip quivering, "control your man eddie" snitching about frochs so-called lies.
Groves I have now lost all respect for you after this, and i hope you get smashed...again. Froch gave you the chance ..again, and you are still whining like a b1tsh

Froch looked rather pathetic last time, pre, during and post fight.in the build up he was going about Salmon trousers and pastings, during the fight he was schooled, crying to his trainer between rounds how he wasnt in control, persistently fouling, bullying, leading with the forearm, hitting on the break.at one point he actually tried run into Groves trying to bulldoze him over.then in victory he did his best to alienate his few remaining fans !

This clearly was a rematch he never wanted,as he neither wanted the initial first fight,as he knew Groves would make him look ****** not only out of the ring but within it ! I believe he tried channel the negative energy he felt to help sell the first fight but it badly misfired on him.

All the hard work against Bute and Mack in instating himself and reinstating ppv in UK against Mikkel Kessler, projecting himself as a ppv star,I always felt he knew with Groves coming along he would potentially undo all that.Froch should actually be over joyed it was Groves who came along,as he physically and mentally wasnt prepared for all the dirty underhand tactics first time around, this time Froch has nothing that can surprise George.

I only see one outcome this time,a more disciplined Groves taking a UD.last time out he became too complacent, dropping his arms, willing to exchange when their wasnt any need, when he was leagues ahead on the cards.well not the UK judge card,as he was clearly in the employment of Hearn, like the referee too.
