Floyd for a long time now hasn't been a fighter. He is more akin to illusionist at fairgroiunds where you get in a ring and a ring and if you can hit the illusionist you win a doller type thing. Similar to herol graham when he used to tie his hands behind his back or something and ask the children to try hit him and he would give them some money if they could land on him. Floyd is too specialized now.

Floiyd is more of a showman type. He don't have to get ko's and that is seen as ok. But then Floyd and his fans put pressure on Pac to get ko's so the danger that Pac can get knocked out chasing the ko. And it happened unsurprising at JMM hands. Its a testament to how good pac was that he never got ko'ed earlier than the JMM fight.

But the fact that FLoyd doesn't ko people and no pressure on FLoyd to ko, means he hasn't been the best fighter in the world for a while. But like an illusionist he has fooled people.
