If Maidana manages to pull off the upset expect Ariza to one of the reasons.

We've seen it before with another fighter.

Maidana looked a little soft at the weigh in. Idk. Perhaps he made weight easier though.

You can't tell anything from a weight in. It'll all be how he performs tonight. In most fights I can think of Maidana gets fatigued midway through. Even against Broner he allowed Broner to fight his way back into the contest mid-rounds.

If Maidana can actually fight 12 rounds like he did the 1st 2 against Broner, he'd have a chance. I honestly don't think he can.

I don't know why fans discuss (shape) from a weight in. Some people cut up, some do not. Juan Diaz comes to mind. He used to be in excellent shape and was a fat looking fighter. You can't "eyeball" conditioning.

Maidana is one of those guys who will never look 'ripped'. Need to remember it's not a body building contest!

Bradley showed us all that looks can be deceiving.

Not to get all highschool physics but f=mv^2. Acceleration is more important that mass when it comes to delivering force. If your mass is slowing down your acceleration that's a problem. That, and concentrating the point impact is why punchers gloves tend to be compact. (Think bullet vs king sized mattress.) You're also burning more energy and subjecting yourself to more strain by moving that mass. That's why so many great power punchers don't look ripped per say.

I think you're right. I think if Bradley moved back down to 140, with less muscle mass and more speed, he'll be a beast. 147 is not good for him or Marquez.

What the f!!k are you guys talking about? The guy only lost one fight in his entire career and you are trying to discredit him just because he has the best body in boxing. Get the hell out of here with that bs. He may not have the best ko%, but I guarantee you he would lay any of you clowns out with one jab.
