Already the richest boxer in history, some say Floyd Mayweather edges closer to consideration as the greatest with each passing fight.

Unbeaten in 45 spats and a world champion in five different weight categories, the welterweight formerly known as ‘Pretty Boy’ is incontestably the finest fighter of his era, pound for pound.

I am a Floyd fan because he is the most gifted boxer in this era, but in my opinion, he is not one of the greatest. To be great, one has to fight the best in his era. Floyd is not doing that. There isn't a top heavyweight that Ali did not fight and there isn't a top fighter that Sugar Ray (both) did not fight, and they fought in multiple weight divisions. Floyd picks and chooses fighters that he has a clear advantage over.

Although I believe he has the skills to beat all of the top fighters at the moment, he's trying to protect his 0. He had the opportunity to fight Cotto, Mosely and Margarito in his prime and their prime, but he chose to retire instead. His only significant fight was against Canelo (who I believe is not as good as everyone thinks he is).

For all of the PAC fans, he's not ducking Pac. Pac simply had to agree to the drug test (like he wanted Marquez to take) and the fight would have happened. Floyd's status has now exceeded Pac's and Pac should meet his demands.

If Mayweather had gone the hard route and fought Khan id pay for this. No way I'm paying to see him dance around slow Maidana and broner fight a nobody that has the same name as a champion. Streaming this one
