Comments Thread For: Graham: Mayweather Will Be Mean, Take Maidana Apart

Floyd Mayweather, 37, has vowed to make a statement against Agentina’s Rene Marcos Maidana, 30, at the MGM Grand on Saturday night in their WBA and WBC welterweight world title fight, which is being shown love on BoxNation here in the U.K. Maidana earned his crack by out-pointing Adrien Broner, Mayweather’s friend and prodigy, and the Argentinian is a big underdog, prompting some to predict a more aggression performance than usual from the American superstar.

I agree with Graham. That's exactly what I am expecting. Maidana will be stopped.

I don't agree that Floyd will stop him, but I do agree that Floyd's time is running out. I think 2015 will be the end, and I don't think he'll finish undefeated, if he keeps fighting 154 fighters like Cotto, Canelo, or Lara. That said, I don't see anyone at 147 that can beat him yet, maybe Maidaina, Thurman or Porter can get lucky because they hit HARD!

I told Syf this, Maidana puts on too much weight over night and if he does the same here Mayweather is gonna put a serious beating on him. Maidana is a natural puncher, he's gonna need every bit of speed and energy he can get.

Graham not a top shelf sought after trainer anymore. What do we expect to hear from someone now on the outside looking in?

Ive said it along Maidana will be TKO'd,

Floyd will pick him apart from round 4 and onwards

Maidana fanboys have caught up in the hype of the Broner fight

Broner is a bum with slow feet, Floyd is the master of movement, Maidana is in for a boxing lesson, his warrior spirit will take a backseat when he eats up a couple of counters, just like The Ghost
