WHy should we take this article as fact, when it's just some guys pinion.
The underlying tone in this article ****ing makes me sick.
Khan would have had a better chance? Based on what? Years past when he was looking impressive taking out Judah and Malignaggie, and a hard earned win vs Maidana? Or recently being ko'd easily, and struggling against sub par opposition.
And you say these weren't the two best guys available, yet don't list anyone else. Who was better currently available?Comment

Those 'fans' who immediately scoff and diss Maidana as having zero chance... you do know everyone knows the LIKELY outcome right? Now, get a friend to throw that broken record switch in the back of your head, and come back to the real world where we aren't frozen by what a likely outcome may be. Discussing possible outcomes in a fight like this builds up energy and interest for the fight. It's good for the sport to talk about the 'what ifs'. And besides, Marcos is a bigger challenge to Floydie than Guererro or Mosely or Ortiz or JMM or Baldomir. So let's all enjoy a great fight on a very good card.Comment

I cant even imagine what would happen, this would be so unreal i cant even imagine what would happen. Boxingscene will be down due to insane traffic for a couple days and i actually think this would be huge for the sport, boxing would get so much more attention because of this. That rematch would be insane and generate so much hype and money. I for sure would just be smiling day and night for a very long time.Comment

I've been thinking all day long of a scenario if Maidana wins, Mayweather will either call for a rematch or walk away, "little brother" Broner gets more bitter, Maidana gives up the WBA belt and defend against Danny Garcia (who can't resists a chance to fight the best).
Garcia will have his second "gift" decision for the year, the combination as well would be for Khan to lose against Collazo, Thurman and Collazo will fight for the vacant WBA title.Comment
