                Even though I don't think GGG should be moving up until the Sergio fight is dead, this would be one hell of an intriguing match-up. Golovkin the technically superior puncher, Froch the one with the proven chin.

                    Both Froch and Hearn have expressed interest in a Golovkin fight several times before. He's joking.

                    "But, from what I understand, HBO are more interested to see me in against Golovkin because there are not too many willing to fight him.

                    "Sure, Golovkin is frightening but I fear no man. It would be an unbelievable super-fight that would get everybody excited - him or Chavez Jr."

                    According to HBO he'd be willing to step up to super-middleweight and a fight with Carl Froch would just be epic. Froch, granite chin, Golovkin one of the biggest pound-for-pound punchers in the world. Carl Froch will fight any man. Whilst Golovkin is largely avoided Froch will quite willingly step up and ideally that is a fight that could happen in the middle of 2014

                    Promoter Eddie Hearn of Matchroom tells Adam Norman of Sky Sports that a fight between IBF/WBA super middleweight champion Carl Froch (31-2, 22KOs), and IBO/WBA middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin (27-0, 24KOs), is a fight that could be made for next year. Froch is likely to return in late November or early December with Mikkel Kessler, WBC champion Sakio Bika and former British champion George Groves as possible opponents.

                                        i don't think froch needs american TV money. he doesn't need such a hard fight.


                                        you could sell limeys a third kessler fight. all they want to do is get drunk and watch their guy win. that sounds harsh, but it's the truth.
