Comments Thread For: Hopkins Feels Pacquiao's Big Power No Longer There

IBF/WBA light heavyweight champion Bernard Hopkins believes eight division former champion Manny Pacquiao has rapidly declined, in terms of his power and physicality in the ring, over the last few years. Pacquiao, who at one time was demolishing the competition, has not scored a stoppage win since a TKO victory over Miguel Cotto in late 2009.

"How do you feel Pacquiao's talent level, power [is] pertaining to the last five or six years? Do you think anything changed? Do you see any difference in him? And we all change. I see a lot of difference," Hopkins said.

Classic way to suggest something and than take it back as to not receive a defiamation
suit. People forget that Hopkins startedoff as a power punching middleweight and when started getting older he loss his power. Also Pacquiao was always more of less an accumulation puncher, he never hit like a heavyweight.

It doesn't matter what angle people try to look at this from because he could have very easily done drug testing against Clottey and so on but didn't, that act alone would have killed everything PED related.

Pacquiao never had big power to begin with. Accumulative power is a more precise term.

Hopkins is starting to sound like a bitter old ****. First the comments about not having to fight kovalev and now his passive aggressive comments about pac. The guy is a GBP shill.
