Mayweather doesn't care about fans he cares about money. Also fighting maidana is the closest he could get to fighting a Mexican. In the US, big boxing events coincide with Mexican holidays ( early may and mid september) since Mexicans and mexican americans come out in droves for fights involving mexicans. Listen to Maidana interviews for this fight, he panders to Mexicans and says things like "... Ese buey me vale madre" in order to try to endear himself to a mexican audience.

Khan again is focusing on Mayweather a couple of days before the fight - anyhow Maidana is more credible he has a belt on offer a win over a legit welter and has earned the right - Thurman shows how a world class fighter deals with Diaz unlike Khan who was lucky to get the decision - Khan was his own worst enemy down fall he ducked Alexander in December which would of put him in the driving seat but did his team doubt his chin as well. Khan stay focused for this fight or your ticket will be gone for a future Mayweather fight, how embarrassing if he loses on the Mayweather undercard after making so much noise.

look Maidana is a good fighter, no one is saying he is garbage but the style matchup for Floyd vs Maidana is an easier fight than Floyd vs Khan or Floyd vs Collazo..

Maidana the easiest fighter of the THREE for Floyd to fight because of the style match up.
