  • Chris Mannix (SI): Pacquiao-Bradley Gets 775-800K Buys

For anyone who even gives a ****:

    http://mma-boxing.si.com/2014/05/01/...per-view-buys/

No one outside of Arum was expecting 1 mil buys, and even he was most likely just putting the promoter's spin on it. In the end, these fights did about 1.7 mil buys when there should've been only one match. Everyone involved doubled their money on some bull****.

That's not bad. I didn't think it would do 1 million I said it would do 850k.

I thought it would do 6-700k. Better than expected. Bradley being better known must have given it a bump this time. Certainly wasn't the undercard.

It wasn't a flop. About what I expected.

Not a flop. That's about what it was supposed to do. Maybe a lil more than I was expecting.

I think the undercard would've helped too.

Yea Manny is still clearly #2 in ppv power. It's quite remarkable actually. He's lost some steam but ppl still wanna watch him.
