Are you backing up as he comes forward?

Try taking a step to the side, horizontally.

Don't move in predictable lines, and use your jab to set up the right hand. Once you find a home for the right hand, start unloading your left hook. But be fast.

Well I imagine the kid is pretty damn open. Turn him and blast him.

Don't ever go straight backwards, first of all. Learn angles. If he's coming straight at you, use head movement and counter punching. Also, make him back up as well. Most aggressive, come forward fighters can't fight on their back foot.
