...... It's his choice....
I think he talks way to much my taste, his mouth has polarized the audience.... People will passionately watch to see him Win or Lose, that sells tickets.... That's how he became "Money Mayweather" and that's Entertainment baby !!!
I'll shed no tears if he were to lose... But at age 37, he doesn't have to take on every budding Legend trying to make a name for himself.... (Vlad can still do it, but he doesn't have the same kind of stable of young, hungry and talented Lions nipping at his heels like Floyd does.)
At age 27, Floyd had things to prove, at age 37 he's already proven himself.... He can walk away on his own terms.... I'm tired of the ducking debate, of course he is... But, to resurrect the 80's Bobby Brown, it's his prerogative ....
I'd still like to see him against an equally old Pac Man, to give all of us fans some closure...
As for Bhop, do we really need to see an ancient alien cutting down to a catch weight in the 150's???
Kind of like Pac Man vs old Oscar De La Hoya revisited....
Bottom line, it's his life.... He's an older athlete in the sport we love, Love or Hate him, he deserves a tip of the hat in respect to what he's done in the ring... (Outside of the ring is another issue entirely.) He deserves the right to script his own ending....
