Maidana does nothing better than Cotto.

Not true... since cotto fights with his dominant hand forward.. it KILLS his crosses.. his lead hand game is top notch but the leverage hand is weaker.

Maidana throws a great right cross with his dominant hand. Undoubtedly better than Cotto's non dominant hand right cross.

and the cross, to me, is the most powerful punch in boxing. Add to that Chino's left hook and jab (cottos bread and butter punches) look very authoritative as well, and I wouldnt be at all surprised if what RG says is a true.

Maidana punches harder then Cotto. Cotto was never a big puncher above 140. Another reason why his 160 campaign is so surprising.

Just disrespectful. How does he know? Based on what does MM punch harder then Cotto??? I am tired of these washed up trainers and C Level fighters disrespecting these HOF'mers and Legends.

Cotto is a great fighter in the context of todays era, but legend? Just stop. If anything it's disrespectful to Maidana.

No. No. No. By legend, I meant Manny Pacquiao. You remember how Garcia and Maidana has stated that after he KO's Floyd, he wants Manny or Cotto. He also said he would KO them as well; they all laughed too. After Saturday, I'll be laughing and I am not a Floyd fan, as you know BUT I give credit where it's due.

I don't think Maidana has more power per say, but I do believe his style can make it seem that way. When Maidana is hurt, he becomes more dangerous, kinda like a blind game fowl. When Cotto gets hurt, he losses every ounce of power.
